The TIF wiring harness has 6 conductors and goes directly into a larger wiring harness, then the larger harness goes across the top of the valve cover to the passenger side of the vehicle.

More importantly you should see the timing advancing when you accelerate (spout plug in) if it doesn't there is a problem in the circuit.
