WebAs spaceghoti (hehe, spacefish) said fighter is a very good choice for an archer in 3.5, as feats are gained every third level as opposed to every second level in Pathfinder, so the extra feats help a lot. The scout is also fairly good if you want to aim for a more of a utility role, as he can do a bit of damage with the skirmish ability.
